Our mission is to provide young people with the highest quality of education, regarding drug and alcohol prevention, gang and related gun violence, and issues related to fatherhood and family reunification. We provide juveniles with specific knowledge and skills that will lead to a greater understanding of issues related to maladaptive and unproductive behaviors overall with the aim of increasing positive self images and an enhanced desire to pursue on-going positive direction.

The Executive Director has extensive experience with youth programming and related issues  at the present time working towards his associates in Psychology.    In addition, the direct service providers at present are two (2) counselors with a bachelor’s degree – one is a State of Delaware Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. The Y.E.S.S. program consultant has a Master degree and is an International Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor and State of Delaware Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor as well.

Shawn LaMotte Allen

Attended Stubbs and Drew/Pyle Elementary Schools on the east side of Wilmington.  He attended Gauger Middle School and graduated from Glasgow High School in 1987. He is now at the present time studying to receive his Associates degree in Psychology.
